Olympics: The Weather
I’m still absorbing the difficult news we heard tonight about Nuggets coach George Karl. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. This cartoon was done earlier in the day and actually aired on 9News.

Yeah that is too bad about George, he is a real trooper, I wish him well and hope he gets better.
Bummer about George. It’s been a very anticlimatic Olympics so far….
And yet, the West Coast had to find out about this three hours later on tape delay. Please give the Olympics to ESPN/ABC.

George Karls cancer puts the Olympics and other GAMES like the NBA into a different perspective.
All of sudden it doesn’t seem to matter if Lindsey Vonn gets her bad shin down a mountain.
Our whole way of looking at things would change if Cancer came uninvited into our lives.
I don’t know and have never met George but I wouldn’t wish having to fight cancer on anyone.
Say a little extra prayer for him.
Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.
