Stocks Plunge!

Wow. We’re only two weeks into the preseason and already there is drama! Tim Tebow fell to number 3 on the depth chart over the weekend, and given his poor performance on Saturday night, he is likely to stay there. Who would have thought that Tebow’s star and stock could fall so quickly. What do you think about it? Everyone in Denver was hoping Tebow was the guy. Now, maybe, not so much.

  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

its a tough game and he is playing a position that is really difficult position. all the glory, all the blame. the expectations that he came with were huge. it seems he is like a hybrid…and the nfl does not welcome hybrids. evolutions of positions are seemingly ok. but the first new development at any position is looked at as a freak.

Tebow may never make it in the nfl, as a quarterback. but 5-10 years from now as offenses change to meet the challenges defenses offer, the next tebow will do just fine.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  2. This commentary is just plain silly. Orton would look just the same if he didnt get all of the reps…Who thinks that they were featuring Quinn in an attempt to move him? Stretch I know…

This conversation will never be over until Tebow gets a honest shot…3 or 4 games…but if that happens, it might be junk time anyways from a season perspective and then everyone will question his value then too…

  3. If there hadn’t been a lockout this season, Tebow would have gotten the proper training and coaching that he needed to bring his game up to the necessary level. He would have seen the film of himself shifting his feet (that ESPN noted during their first game against the Cowboys) and started training to plant them.

I think that Tebow will become a good NFL QB, and if he stays humble enough long enough, he’ll become a great one. But not this year. This year he needs to work on his NFL fundamentals. Next year, when Orton’s and Quinn’s contracts expire (correct me if I’m wrong there), he’ll have a better shot at the #1 slot. Patience, young Grasshopper.

  4. All is good right now for the orange and blue crew. We played well against Buffalo. Tim Tebow (As I would love to see him succeed) is a project. Mcidiot really shows how horrible he ruined us by getting us another cut with Richard Quinn. How long will tebow last before he is another pick to bite the dust? We shall see. For now all is looking good. There is a light at the end of the tunnel now. As always GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!

  5. What a position to be in! We get to backseat drive without any consequences! Course we will never get paid the big bucks, but moeny isn’t everything. I like what Harry says, so cool headed and well, logical. Is not the Tebow/Quinn situation an excellent way to see how Tebow reacts, if he whines like, say, a Jay Cutler, or puts his head down and competes and works to get better and become the leader he and we think he will be? Broncomaniac is too smart to call themself a maniac. Great attention to detail, Drew, love the cartoon.

  6. If Tim Tebow becomes what we all want and wish him to be. Then all bronco fans will rejoice and be rewarded for as long his career is. I am a Denver Broncos fan not just a tebow fan. McDaniels ruined my team. So I am going to be a little skeptic on every player he brought in. Even Tim Tebow

  7. My point Broncomaniac, i think of a maniac as out of control, unthinking, you don’t fit either of those categories. I see you as true, blue and orange, smart, loyal, yet not blind.
