Spring Training! Coming soon, but not soon enough!

The first weekend without football was a rough one. Thankfully I stayed busy enough not to dwell on it too much.
Even picked up a copy of a Fantasy Baseball magazine to tide me through. How about you? Too soon to miss it?

ha, I know what you mean. I’ve been wanting baseball since a couple days after the World Series ended. And with the weather we’ve had, I’m sick of snow, and want some baseball now. However, I think the snow decided to dump here in Colorado instead of going east, according to my family, at least.

Yesterday afternoon, I drove around absolutely lost for what to do with no football. Gassed my car (3/4 tank full already), bought cleaning supplies (which I already had) and cleaned two bathrooms. Productive mourning is a terrible thing to behold.

The high school team I coach in OKC starts the season Saturday – so there’s that. Also, the Thunder are the best team in the NBA, which has the town talking about something other than Sooner Football 24/7. As for baseball, I haven’t really followed it since the early 90’s.
I miss football, but it’s not the only game.
