   Question: Which time do you personally thing the media was more obsessive? Currently with Peyton Manning or that rookie year with John Elway? Of course Elway always had a lot of press around him but that first year it seemed almost like an overdose of coverage.

   Just curious to know what you think.

   I guess things in denver are going pretty well. If Peyton throwing a pass is big news,then Jeffco schools have solved their budget problem and the wild fires around Ft. Collins must be out. they are not and have not…

   oh well its the bronco’s big gamble and Elway has a lot riding on Peytons arm.

6. Thanks, Badger, i was not aware of that website, love the dry humor and perspective. Sometimes we need a little distraction from the tough things in life, that’s what entertainment is all about and sports is entertainment. That doesn’t mean that we can ignore the “real” world, we, as indivduals, have some responsiblity here to know what is going on, not all media stops for Payton. Enough soapbox, great perspective and cartoon, Drew!

   It’s nice to see that Broncomania as I remember it is alive and well in the Mile High City. I had to smile and chuckle quietly to myself after seeing this one.
