The Boston “V” Party
As the summer slowly unwinds and football season nears there’s still a lot of hardball to be played, and I’m not talking about the political campaigns. Boston’s Bobby Valentine has come under fire recently amid rumors that players have actually gone to management and said they cannot play for Valentine any longer. It brings back memories of the ouster of Broncos Head coach John Ralston in 1976 after players voiced their opinions about Ralston’s inability to lead the team to the next level. Ralston was fired, Red Miller came aboard and led the Broncos to their first super Bowl appearance in 1977. Sometimes change is good.
Follow Me

Good morning from Omaha,
the inmates are running the asylum in Boston. I guess its out of the frustration with the teams performance but to blame the manager because you are having a down season is silly. I guess bobby has rubbed them the wrong way for too long.
Its good to have you back and hope that Texas is agreeing with you. I am looking forward to football season as the teams that get my attention in baseball are so far out of the race they have been lapped.
Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.
Gene
Anything that has Boston teams in agony is welcome for me.
Also, Drew: EPL starts Saturday! It would be nice to have a toon for that…
