Felix and Bevo: Leap Year
Quite the weekend. Felix Baumgartner jumps from 25 miles above the earth and The Texas Longhorns fall from 25 miles above the earth. For Felix, things turned out pretty well. For Bevo, not so much.
I’ll be drawing Broncos tonight for tomorrows broadcast. It’s late so it won’t air tonight.

that analogy cuts both ways and includes TX as well. Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it- Long horn network, fine. But nothing on there worth watching. Getting beat is part of the job- but getting stomped 2 years in a row by oklahoma and then you throw in that west Virginia debacle-the AD has got to be fielding resumes from coaches across the world.
All the talent in the world will not win a team games like football if they dont play together as a team.

Love the topical cartoon! I watched Texas getting mauled by Oklahoma for the first half or so. Talk about ugly… that game is in my top 5 for the season thus far.

First of all I’ve got to say I’m scared to death of heights. So much so I wouldn’t get into a plane for 18 years because of it. When I look at the view from the camera onboard the space capsule I almost freaked and I was safely on the ground.
In many ways instead of Bevo you could have inserted the Bronoc mascot considering the way they played in the first half. Thank goodness they found their rip cord in time and parachuted to a victory.

The Felix jump – l loved the views of the Earth before the leap.
As for Texas, I’m not sure what I hate more: the Yankees or the Longhorns. I’m just tired of seeing money throw its weight around.
