Todd Helton is exactly why you love watching baseball. 100%, 100% of the time. Congrats on an AMAZING CAREER. Colorado Legend. Get your HOF speech together!
One of the class acts and most underrated first basemen in the game Will be truly missed
Drew,
I love this cartoon. I will miss Todd. You are right he is to the Rockies, what Elway was to the Broncos. My son always wanted to wear #17 when he was playing baseball.
One of the good guys in baseball. Too bad we couldn’t get him a ring.
Todd Helton is a special kind of player and person, he shows up every day and always gives his best! He’s our Cal Ripkin. Thanks so much for all you did for the Rockies, Todd, you will be missed!
I have to stop looking at this. It’s making me cry again. Drew, you say tributes are the toughest. But the emotion, effort and thought you put into them (and every piece you do) comes through in spades. The ability to pull emotion from the viewer is the sign of a great artist. Thank you. <3
Mr. Liton, I’ve been a big fan of yours for a long time. You as so “on the mark” with so many of your efforts. This tribute to Tod Helton – The Face of the Rockies – is spot on. Thank you for your contributions.
Drew, you knocked this one out of the park, well done.
Thanks Todd for 17 great season as a Colorado Rockie and thanks for signing my Dinger Doll at Spring Training.
There’s no crying in baseball… yes Todd, there was Wednesday night at Coors and I was not alone. I will miss you.
Thanks Todd. I’ve been a season ticket holder for the last 19 years so I’ve seen you develop to be the superb baseball player you are. Enjoy retirement.
