Well said. Still makes my stomach churn…Hawks deserved it. I get a feeling that there was a sense of “this can’t be happening to us…are we in a dream??” happening amongst Broncos. Next season…bring it on. My slogan for the next year…”43-8 fuels my fire!”
It was a very dominant performance – I hadn’t seen that kind of blowout in the Super Bowl in almost 20 years.
The Seahawk defense wasn’t the line-heavy, old school smashmouth brand like the 85 Bears or 2K Ravens – they were a modern force of speed and tactics. For all the woofing that Richard Sherman gets accused of, he and his team sure did back it up Sunday.
As a side note: How much money did you get with that “First play is a Safety” prop bet, anyway?
