I’ve been trying to come up with a proper rehabilitation program for Michael Vick but I have to tell you I can’t find one that is suitable. Suffice to say, if and when he ever returns to the NFL it will be a very sad day.

If the NFL allows Vick back in the NHL I will be as sad, disgusted, and disappointed as when the NHL allowed Burtuzzi back on the ice. Why are these people allowed off, when so many people w/ lessor offenses sit in jail?! They shouldn’t be given better treatment because, they may otherwise, what?! Be forced to face the reality in life?! Vick SHOULD be dog food in my opinion!

Well he is back. They were talking about how some teams might need want to get Michael to be a wildcat type of quarterback.Hes got two months of $10 an hour labor, a chance to prove contrition to the NFL and a soft hearted but virtuous Tony Dungy and the ability to throw a football.
ESPN listed several teams that are interested in his talent as a wildcat quarterback.
they will have a real PR problem if they put them on their team. If he throws some winning touchdowns the protests will be drowned out and he will be forgiven.
Its the sad state of sports right now and goes back to our constant harping on the role model thing.
enough already.Maybe the old players weren’t perfect but we didn’t always have the media to point out their flaws.

Uhm, should Vick be allowed to play ball again? My opinion, no, but in the opinion of head coaches that are only hired to WIN, will Vick gives them a measurable chance to do so. Coaches moral fiber are are challenged by their desire/need to win. Why should the players they seek be any different? Until we as the paying audience start to demand results higher then winning, well, I am afraid that folks like Vick will be around.
I really hate this topic on Vick, I think that people deserve a second chance in life. From personal experiences I did not lead the most perfect life and never will so why should we judge this man. Everyone has done something they were never proud of and keep it hidden from everyday society, Michael Vick unfortunately is a well know figure and just got caught up in a bad crowd and situation. To kill anything human, or animal is disturbing and twisted but think of when we all have had a few drinks and drove or ran a yellow light. We all take the risk and sometimes you get caught and sometimes you get away with it (think about it). I still want Vick to succeed and get a new life in the NFL or not because he has a story to tell to teach people about and for everyone not to follow that path.
Almost forgot to throw in my prediction for tonight, nationaly every sports talk person is taking Denver. All the press is doing is making Kobe mad and getting the Lakers fired up for Denver. The WWE is not making matters better in the least and this series could go downhill fast if Denver does not win tonight. Orlando can do it why cant we? Well Denver needs a sports psychologist, because they dont believe in themselfs. I hope the Nuggets win just to prove me wrong and I will shut up. Lakers in double digits tonight.
IF Vick shows genuine remorse for his crimes, why shouldn’t he be allowed back? He has paid his debt – he has lost more than just his freedom, he has lost his image, millions in salary and endorsements, he is going to have to work very hard to rebuild his life, but again *IF* he is genuinely remorseful and has learned from his mistakes, why shouldn’t he get a second chance to resume his life and career?
Prediction for the Nuggs – close game, but the Nuggets bounce back from a crushing game one and take the series home tied up

I was hoping for a cartoon of Vince McMahon getting pinned by the Nuggets. The WWE is a bunch of phonies and a disgrace to real wrestlers like Rulon Gardner and Cael Sanderson. Serves him right getting kicked out of Denver’s arena.
