The NFL’s idea of Fair and Equal Justice…

I have no idea what the NFL is thinking when it comes to handing out player suspensions. I just know that they are completely ignoring the much more dangerous problem of Domestic Violence by not dealing with it through the discipline they currently hand out to players for such an offense. It Really Outrages me!!! Fans need to rally and force the NFL to deal with this issue NOW!

If you are mad about the Prater suspension then do something positive with those feelings! Call the NFL or e-mail them and voice your opinion that this kind of ignorance towards Domestic Violence cannot stand.

  1. Belatedly, the NFL just changed their Domestic Violence policy:

    1st offense: 6 games w/o pay

2nd offense: At least 1 year, may request reinstatement after that year (Not guaranteed)

Also, it goes for ANY NFL employee, not just players.

  2. What has been lost in all the finger pointing is that Ray Rice was punished more severely by Roger Goodell than by the state of New Jersey where the incident in question occurred. Even though a grand jury indicted him on third degree aggravated assault charges which carries a possible jail sentence of three to five years, the prosecutor trying the case (Jim McClain) and the judge presiding over (Judge Michael Donio) it allowed Ray Rice to plead avoid prosecution and enter into PTI a program for first time offenders that allows them to avoid prison time for offenses.
