The NBA finals: Is somebody a little on edge?

Never let ’em see ya sweat
Or so the story goes. But you better believe David Stern is feeling a little nervous about now. His “Dream Team” match-up of Kobe vs. LeBron is about to go up in smoke. We’ll know pretty soon if the fix is on if suddenly the Cavs come back and Kobe finds a teammate to help him do anything on the court. Me? I’m pulling for the big upsets. It’s so much more fun that way.

Good Morning from Omaha,
Great cartoon Drew. The ratings in Denver and Orlando would be off the charts-Colorado and Florida as well.
The crowds at the Pepsi center have been terrific. Noisy and enthusiastic.
Orlando beat Cleveland last night in OT. Its up to the Nuggets to get it done in LA.
I do believe they can get R done, to borrow from that Nebraska boy, Larry the cable guy.
You have a great day and we will see you tomorrow.
Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.
Gene
Orlando and Denver WHO?! For some reason I have a feeling that the Lakers will bounce back from a awful loss they suffered on Monday. Kobe may not go down so easy as Lebron has, I am pulling for the Nuggets but as I have said before ” when I see it then I will believe it”. I have been hurt too many times from the Nuggs to put all my eggs in one basket.
Drew you hit that one right square on the head! All those Vitamin Water, Gatorade, and Nike commercials with Lebron & Kobe will be flushed right down the toilet when Denver and Orlando meet in the finals. Gotta Love It! GO NUGGETS
You hit this on the head Drew.
Expect to see a lot more one sided officiating to the benefit of the Cavs & Lakers.
Let’s face it… it’s about the $$$.
I don’t get how LA fans complain about the games being fixed. The league would never fix a game in Denver’s favor. In fact no pro sport would fix a game for a Colorado team.
Funny cartoon but you’ve got to be crazy to think that “the fix is in” if the Lakers win the series. It’s 2-2 and LA has homecourt. Now if Cleveland wins 3 in a row…
Rich,
Absolutely. The Nuggets-Lakers series could go either way, but Cleveland down 3-1 in the series…well, it would be a bit suspicious wouldn’t it?
Yea, and the Lakers can and /should/ beat the Nuggets, and that series is all tired up, so, no fix there. But, yea, if the Cavs pull off a Red Socks like miracle I’d be curious.
ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!! priceless drew, priceless…love the little bird as well nicely done sir!
The NBA did fix the game – they hired David Copperfield to make the Nuggets disappear in the 4th….
