This cartoon ran on WFAA in Dallas. A perfect depiction of another one of the NFL’s biggest brats.

  1. This is great, Drew! Tell it like it is!

And it seems there are plenty MORE “NFL brats” out there…..

….some of them are more like “thugs” as we call them, especially the ones that seem to purposely try to injure other players.

Fines and suspensions don’t seem to matter to them. The coaches and the NFL go too easy on these guys….

….so much for “Sportsman-like” behavior; this obviously doesn’t matter anymore.

  2. Good Morning from Omaha,

Every team seems to have its “head” cases. When you are on “america’s ” team you crave the spotlight. Dez has a history but the cowboys knew this when they brought him on board several years ago. He became one of Grandpa Jerry’s reclamation projects. I guess there is still work to do on that project.

Its good that he wants the ball during tough situations but to tear into another one of Jerry’s projects,Romo, is going to damage the chemistry of the team, which is fragile at best.

As long as they can run and catch a football I guess it doesn’t matter that he thinks that everything revolves around his little world and that we a guests to be invited into his presence.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

    Gene

  3. I think Romo needs to handle Dez in a grown up mature way, let him know how things work, what is the best way to be a teammate, and the best way to inspire his teammates. All that could be handled in a few quiet words. But i dont see Romo as being the mature leader of a team.

    Great stuff, as always, Drew!
