I’m not sure I’ve ever heard anything in sports quite as heartbreaking as the Derrick Rose injury that occurred late saturday afternoon in the Bulls first playoff game. I did one cartoon for the Chicago Tribune (below) on Saturday evening for their Sunday paper and one for Universal Press Syndicate (above). Comparative studies on the same topic. Dispatches from the Drawing Board

• This cartoon is from this weekends Chicago Tribune. The Blackhawks are raising ticket prices, which , of course, is never very popular.
• Kentucky vs. Kansas should be great fun. I’m rooting for the little bird!
• Looking forward to a more creative week. I spent last week teaching for Art Reach, kids from age 5 to 14. It takes me out of the “zone” if you will and makes it a little more of a challenge to just “chill” and draw funny pictures.
