    Dear Mr. Litton,

I have always found your “tributes” in death to be well thought out. No matter if the person died from their sport (example: Duk Ku Kim who died in his fight with “Boom Boom” Mancini) or by drugs (Len Bias), other causes (Wilma Rudolph, which was one of my favorite tribues). However I’d have to say if this tribute isn’t your best work I can’t imagine what would top it.

    Good Morning from Omaha,
what a tribute, drew. you have done it again.
I still remember when he came to NWMSU in February of ’76 and spoke to a packed house in the Admin. Auditorium. this was just after he retired and he was great .
I am sure you have heard the stories about him wanting the nurses to give him a shave because he was on his way to meeting his wife in heaven.
He was truly a good man, with lots of character. A real role model for everyone.
Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.
    Gene
