  1. good ol' george says:

    He’ll stay in Cleveland.

  2. Drew says:

I think he will too. He hung out shooting hoops at his camp today even thought he wasn’t supposed to be there until Tuesday. I just don’t see him standing there when the camp ends and he tells all those kids “Well, it’s been real but I’m off to NY” I just don’t see that happening.

    GMFO-
Its like the NBA is picking a a new pope…just waiting for that white smoke to appear over King James home.
I agree with you drew, I would really be surprised if he left cleveland…they will go out and try to surround him some some better parts, but I can’t see him leaving the cav’s.
Strive for excellence, nothing but your best!

not that it makes much of a difference, but THE WORLD is not waiting on James. the basketball world and even the sports reporters world, but not THE WORLD!

  5. Drew says:

You’re right. the world doesn’t await the James decision. But much like Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan, James is becoming a name known around the world. So in a sense…

  6. David says:

The WORLD may not be waiting on LeBron, but the state of Ohio is, and it ain’t just a sports thing. It is a mindboggling demonstration of the impact of sports and entertainment on economics that his decision could have a swing of $100M + per year for a state who’s employment is already in double-digits.

Today’s View From the Bull Pen

The odds aren't good. Simply put waiting for an NBA player to make a free throw is a bit like waiting for the Cubs to win the World Series. It just ain't gonna happen. At least in our lifetimes. It reminds me of one of my favorite stories. Legendary basketball coach Don Haskins, all 250 plus pounds of him, had a player who apparently thought a bit highly of himself and didn't find his deficiency at the free throw line to be that big of a deal. Haskins challenged him to a free throw contest and let the kid go first. The kid hit a couple out of 10 or so and proudly handed old man Haskins the ball. After the coach hit his 100th in a row without a miss the kid learned his lesson. Don't argue with the Bear. And learn to shoot free throws.

There isn't a way to leave comments in the Bull Pen (that I've found yet) so please feel free to leave your comments under the latest cartoon that I post.
