Idiots Among Us
The latest Bozo Award in the world of sports belongs to Sergio Garcia. The tiff between him and Tiger Woods is legendary and has escalated in recent weeks. But the recent statement by Garcia about Tiger Woods coming over to his house for dinner with fried chicken on the menu is beyond belief. It proves once again that even though golf is a cerebral game, stupid people somehow manage to find a way on the course regardless. True Idiocy reigns on the PGA tour.
Like MLK, I too have a dream. That someday we will no longer see the color of a man's skin, or judge them by their sexuality, but instead, with compassion and strength, seek to live as equals in the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness.
Until that day, I will rage on in cartoons like this one about the utter stupidity of some people who, unfortunately, inhabit the same planet I do.
As always, your readership and your comments help to make the world go round, so please continue to add them. I will try to do a better job of responding.
There isn't a way to leave comments in the Bull Pen so please feel free to leave your comments under the latest cartoon that I post.

Dear Drew
I feel EXACTLY like the guy in the photo. I played the ESPN Bracket insanity challenge. I joined 2 pools. In one pool I finished 96th outof 100. I did a little better in the other one. There I finished 88th out of 100. Overall I went 40-26 in both straight up but obviously a lot of longshots I picked each round didn’t pan out. This was definatly a tournament where the “chalk” (racing term for he favorite in a race for those who don’t know) kept coming in.
Oh well. Now bring on the Rockies and hopefully a drawing on the Jimenez-Tulo plunking.
All the best
Louis
Good Morning from Omaha,
my luck in the family pool was bad. the two teams I had picked to play for it all went out early and no, one of those teams was not missouri.
I agree with louis, the jimenez-tulo incident makes for good fodder, but on what level. Jimenez got his money, from the Indians, and still harbored ill will.
There is more to being a team than wearing the same uniform.
Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.
Gene
She not only got Kentucky right, she probably has both Baylor and Notre Dame in the women’s bracket, with Baylor winning tonight. (Any plans for a Baylor cartoon if they win? After all, it’s in Denver.)
