Lots of them. Jay Cutler has thrown 17 interceptions half way through the season, 5 against the 49ers on Thursday night alone. Now do yyou really want him back in Denver?

Great cartoon Drew, I’ve always loved your stuff. Even still,(and I realize I’m probably in the minority on this one) I would rather have Cutler back in Denver. Orton definitely exceed my expectations for the first six games, but recently he’s played more like I was afraid he would. Although our defense is much improved, we clearly need the offense to be able to stay on the field and above all score some points. Orton and co. haven’t done so the last few weeks. Would Cutler have been better, or would he have killed us with turnovers? It’s really impossible to say, and what’s done is done. Chicago fans, don’t give up on him yet. Build a good O-line, get some people for him to throw to, and if he continues to be a turnover machine then by all means drive him out of town. It’s still early (same goes for Orton) and we’ll see how things turn out in the rest of the season.

has cutler always been this bad with the football and in his attitude.
five int’s in one game and then berating the officials to the point where he gets fined by the league.
does he think he is that good or is he just another misguided football soul who has been pampered and coddled his whole life.
You being in Denver would have a better grasp on him, and would know if this mess in Chicago is a new development or a continuation.
Like they used to say “it ain’t braggin if you can do it” sounds like Jay is bragging because evidently he can’t do it.

Cutler’s performance in Chicago seems to be a new development. I don’t recall him throwing quite that many picks when he was here in Denver. He was known among fans and his fellow players to be cool and relaxed in high pressure situations. When Mike Shanahan benched Plummer handed Cutler the reins to the Denver offense in the final 4 or 5 games of his rookie season, Cutler didn’t win them all, but he did fine. The cocky attitude is nothing new, although he isn’t quite as bad as Philip “The Mouth” Rivers. Cutler once bragged that he had a stronger arm, and that he was a better QB than John Elway. In a town where John Elway is considered the god of football, that wasn’t too well-received. Before Cutler, we got fed up with Jake Plummer for throwing 20 picks in a season, but for Cutler to have already thrown 17 by the midway point in the season…just, wow. I’ve only seen one Chicago game since the Cutler/Orton trade, so I can’t really say what the problem is in Chicago, but it sounds like the O-line and receiving corps needs improvement.
