Leafs
I drew this for 9News on Sunday night but waited a few days to post it. The outpouring of love and support for the McKernan family (the Barrel Man) has been wonderful and I just wanted to give people time to write some condolences and warm fuzzies to the family. Well done Drew Crewers. You are all so absolutely amazing! We should be back on a regular schedule of cartoons now.

What happened for the cartoon of the Giants game?

    GMFO,
well so much for the chiefs this year. OK I should have said that after the first 4 games but….
they keep saying its process and it takes time. NO one realized how bare the cupboard was when carl and herm left. the team was the youngest in the NFL at that time.
Now they have brought in some well worn vets like Vrabel and chambers to teach the younguns’ how to play their positions and evidently the lessons have not gone well.
They are hoping against hope that they can beat Buffalo and/or Cleveland with no hope for beating the Bronco’s in denver or the Bengals in Cincinnati.
But then buffalo and cleveland are hoping that they can get well by beating the chiefs. and so it goes.
As my son the coach said, the chiefs are suffering from too little talent on the field and too little talent in the coaching staff. and that is a deadly combination that will lead to losses and blackouts in the years to come.
for more insight go to kansascity.com and hit the sports page. whitlock is all over them and so are the beat writers for the star.
I am not giving up but I am a realist.
STrive for excellence, nothing but your best.

At least the Kansas City media doesn’t give the Chiefs a freeride unlike the Broncos…

  4. Jason G says:

I expect KC to be the #1 most active team in free agency this off season. The list of quality free agents is huge and Pioli is so far under the cap he can spend like a drunken sailor if he wants to.

Look for some big time names to sign with KC in 2010.

Today’s View From the Bull Pen

The World is in Chaos, The Economy is in the Dumpster...And Peyton Manning throws a Pass. Nice to know we have it all in perspective.

There isn't a way to leave comments in the Bull Pen (that I've found yet) so please feel free to leave your comments under the latest cartoon that I post.
