Tenacity:
That was something the Broncos had on Sunday. They gave the Colts all they wanted for 4 quarters. That bodes well for the future I think. Had it not been for McDaniels lack of imagination on offense this game could have been won by the Broncos. Here’s my mantra. When it’s 4th and 1 ALWAYS throw the ball. It’s your best chance not only for a first down but for a huge play. I mean what, does the McDaniels playbook only have two plays. Throw to Brandon Marshall and run up the middle with Knowshon Moreno, who by the way, impresses me less and less every game. He follows his blocks to a fault. I think the coaching staff has pummeled it into his head so much that they have taken his instincts away. Everytime he gets the ball I get the feeling he’s thinking about what he’s supposed to do next. You can’t think. You have to react and run.

So Now What?
Personally, I’m rooting the rest of the season for the Saints and the Colts to go undefeated and play in the Super Bowl. Now that’s a game I could get interested in.

The only team I ever want in the playoffs is the Broncos, period. Saying otherwise is mutinous, Drew.

  2. Pandapeep says:

    Er, super bowl. Not playoffs

  3. Drew says:

    Pandapeep,

Ah ah Cappy. I wouldn’t ever want to be mutinous. I don’t swim real well to begin with so the last thing I would want is to get tossed overboard.

    To Pandapeep,

I am a Broncos fan who would love to see the Broncos in the Superbowl this year but if I can’t get that I will certainly be hoping for a 18-0 colts and 18-0 saints in the superbowl because I want the 72 dolphins to shut up FOREVER!

    Good Morning from Omaha,
with the chiefs not on here in Omaha yesterday, I ended up going to a bar that had the sattelitte feed.
they showed all the games, the chiefs with no sound and the bronco-colt game.
the place was packed with bronco and cots fans and the back and forth was terrific.
it was a very good game, the bronco’s had their chances but didn’t take advantage of them.
oh well there is always next week. with the bronco’s still having to play the chiefs and I think the raiders,
that puts them to 10 wins and they should be in the playoffs. after they get there, its anybodies guess.
strive for excellence, nothing but your best.
    Gene

What a joke yesterday?! What-a-joke! I really didnt expect to see the Broncos win yesterday, but a little more fight in the first half and some stupid coaching errors coulda made the second half a little more interesting. I look at it this way, at least we could say that we were beatin by the champs this year! Indy is gonna win it all, that team is a monster on defense and a wrecking ball on offense. I really dont see anyone taking out the Colts in the playoffs or Superbowl. The Saints have not played anyone yet, look for them to be upset as soon as they loose very soon.

Same old same old…. Defense made the game interesting and the offense was less than average.

Today’s View From the Bull Pen

The World is in Chaos, The Economy is in the Dumpster...And Peyton Manning throws a Pass. Nice to know we have it all in perspective.

There isn't a way to leave comments in the Bull Pen (that I've found yet) so please feel free to leave your comments under the latest cartoon that I post.
