Great cartoon. I was wondering if the next drawing of McDaniels would be as a turkey, a lame duck, a cooked goose, maybe a dodo or a buzzard. Of course I think McDaniels right now is for the birds anyway (feel free to groan. After all I am stretching this joke out pretty thin).
Who would have thought that of all Denver sports teams, the Colorado Rapids would be the only the one to win a championship in many many years.
Given the fate that Denver teams have met in their first championship appearances in the NFL, MLB, NBA, I fully expected the Rapids to go down tamely to FC Dallas, so the win was a pleasant surprise.

Its unfortunate for the Bronco’s that Mickey D is still trying to find his way in the NFL. He has seemingly put the Bronco’s out to pasture for the season. There are 6 games left in the season, hopefully they won’t beat KC in KC but with the way this season for both teams has gone who can tell. They are both absolutely inconsistent to the point of being mad.
