But what if Manning gets hurt? It would be wise to keep Tebow around just in case Manning’s neck doesn’t want to cooperate.

He is making sure that in his contract they have a back up plan if he gets hurt. Manning is ensuring that he protects the team from his injury. @ good ol’ george:

I love Tim, but I dont’t think he is the right back up to Manning. Manning takes the team on a different path.

To say that I am unenthusiastic about the Manning news is an understatement. I don’t think that he is healthy, and that the Broncos are taking a HUGE risk in signing him. I have heard about all the contingency clauses and such, but I just have a bad feeling about this. I hope I am wrong.
On the plus side, such as it is, I will see a lot more of Tim Tebow. He will be playing 80 miles to the north.

Today’s View From the Bull Pen
Putin and His Preciousssss
Some days you just have to go with silly. Really silly. Of course, the whole story of Vladimir Putin stealing Robert Kraft's Super Bowl Ring is pretty silly. And, I might add, a bit bizarre. This along with the recent news about Putin's divorce and supposed affair with a 20 something is clear evidence that somebody named Vladimir is having a mid-life crisis.
As always, your readership and your comments help to make the world go round, so please continue to add them. I will try to do a better job of responding.
There isn't a way to leave comments in the Bull Pen so please feel free to leave your comments under the latest cartoon that I post.
