Today’s View From the Bull Pen
St Patty's Day
To celebrate the return of Patrick Roy, I thought I'd post my three favorite and most requested Roy cartoons from my days at the Rocky Mountain News. I'm excited he's back and I know you guys are too. So here's to St Patty. I'll raise a pint o' Guinness to that!
Have a great a safe memorial day weekend! As always, your readership and your comments help to make the world go round, so please continue to add them. I will try to do a better job of responding.
There isn't a way to leave comments in the Bull Pen so please feel free to leave your comments under the latest cartoon that I post.

Drew,
Love the side-bar comments. It is fun to read your musings in connection with the ‘toons.
At least we got our beloved Orange back, but is it me or does it not look as “Broncos Orange” as in past years?
I’m still missing the young heart of our team. I know football is a business, but something about Tebow made you dare to dream big, bigger than ever. Regardless of the never-ending debate over his skills, that heart is something 31 other teams do not have, and the Broncos just traded away like Dick Cheney’s old heart.

Good Morning from Omaha,
Its too early to be heyton on Peyton, but if his neck injury is not completely healed and the Bronco;s hit a rough patch I don’t think Henne is the answer.
Tebow has a will to win, the desire, the drive. Peyton has that and the skills to finish the job.
It looks like tebow has his work cut out for him in New York, The media seem to think that if sanchez has a bad game the nets will go straight to Tebow. We will see,
In the meantime the memories of Tims exploits will resound throughout the rockies for years to come,

Thanks for the laugh. This one although not so subtle really, snuck up on me. I love the ones you have to look at for just a bit then it hits you right in the face. I like the side musings, makes it seem less like they are specifically for that days toon. Seems like it would give you more freedom. I will cross my fingers for you, so you can draw. Although I can’t imagine anything you do not being well received, even if they are NY’ers.
Drew–
Like the sidebar! It’s really cool to get a behind the scenes peek at what is going on.
GMFO-
love the side bar- please publish the link so that your loyal followers can learn more about the man behind the curtain.
I guess Omaha is off your list for now. We have several nice houses in my area for sale and we don’t have a no cartoonist covenant in our little area.
Heading out to CO in early may for graduation at Regis U. Will you still be in denver then?
OH and its official- I got my handicapped parking sticker today so my wife and I can park up front! the good news- if things continue to go as they have- I might, MIGHT be driving by the fourth of July.

Drew,
I love, love, LOVE this cartoon!!! You captured what many Bronco fans feel about Tim Tebow: “Nothin’ but love, baby.” Tebow brought excitement, energy, and a sense of pride back to Mile High and the Bronco faithful. He may not be (or have been for Denver) a conventional, “this is how you play in the NFL” quarterback. However, together with the rest of the Bronco players, he won games and took us into the play-offs. I’ll never forget the memories of last season. Ever!
By the way, I like the use of the sidebar vs. at the top of the page, for your updates and comments. I find it easier to read.
@ Gene: I’m so glad that you are gaining strength and mobility! Keep doing what you’re doing, because you’re making awesome progress!
