I.like you, thought Hawkins would be a good coach and a good fit at C.U.
I can&#039;t say its nepotism that brought him down, there are a lot of things that factor into success and failure.
I&#039;d like to see it turn around and get to at least the .500 mark soon out at Boulder and make the north more respectable but that is not going to happen this year.
Good luck to hawkins. I hope his son got an education at CU and can get on with a productive life in his chosen field outside of football. 
there are a lot of coaches available out there in the world. Maybe next year will be dan&#039;s year.
