1. Good Morning from Omaha,

   I dont know if this was a rush to judgement or just a really misplaced sense of self worth. AFter all there were 15,000 pages of “evidence” but I guess it goes back to learning that what is important is not what you know, but what you can prove.

   Hearsay, second hand things that are surmised, and a coaches bad reputation are not enough to gut a football team.

   And the dust has not settled on this just yet as Vilma has not yet settled his defamation suit against Goodel.

   I still love the cartoon- I guess you can get caught up in the old where’s there is smoke there is fire analogy. I guess I am guilty as charged. as a former secretary of transportation under Reagan once said after being cleared of charges- “where do I go to get my reputation back?”

   That is a really tough question.
