Drew will you make one more Sakic cartoon? To Denver he was one of the greatest on and off the ice. My wife works at childrens as a RN nurse she told me that Joe not only went to the cancer patients but to see all the kids at childrens hospital. What a class act! I was speechless listening to the press confrence this afternoon and I would like to say that we will all miss "Super" Joe.

Drew -

You're absolutely right when you say Joe Sakic

was "class personified". The best example of that,

in my mind, was when the Avs had just won the 2001

Stanley Cup. As team captain, it was Joe's right to

be the 1st to skate around the rink holding the Cup.

So, what does he do? Without hesitation, he hands

the Cup to Ray Borque to "do the honors". That tells you

all you need to know about Joe Sakic.
