Ding Dong the Streak is dead that Ugly Streak, ding dong the Ugly streak is dead…

Finally, the Buffs get a Pac-12 win. And they did it on the road, against the Beavers from Oregon, not to be confused with the Ducks from Oregon, both of whom have the ugliest uniforms in college football. But I digress. What I loved most about the win was Mike McIntyre’s honest emotion at the conclusion when he realized the Buffs 14 game Pac-12 losing streak was over. Whether it was pure joy for his kids having overcome last weeks epic meltdown at home against Arizona, or the fact that it might enable him to keep his job for another year doesn’t really matter. The fact that he cares so deeply should be all the evidence Buffs fans need to sense the program is getting better, slowly, one game at a time.
