  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

I was watching Lindsey do her skiing thing last night about 8″30 and it was a beautiful night in Vancouver. Sunshine and all.

What is worse than the NBC hype is the fact that I knew from watching espn that she had already won the medal.

While I am tired of Vonn hype, pushed hard by NBc,(and probably out of her control some) I really thought her hugging her husband/coach and crying was a true emotion on her part.

I wanted to slap the editor of the tape that stayed with the two of them so long that I started to feel like an intruder into their moment. I started to squirm on the couch.

Let Lindsey live her life. She has her gold medal. I really don’t think she is driving all the hype. The network thinks it has to find another golden girl or boy at every Olympics but I hope people are smart enough to stay away from all the BS.

NO ONE can live up to all the NBC driven expectations.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  2. The poll is apparently BS, as they ask three comparitive questions, it doesn’t total up in the results.

  3. Stan,

What do you mean? Is it not calculating the votes properly? Was the poll badly written? I create the polls through a thing called poll daddy.

I’m not sure the poll is as good as I would have hoped for. I probably needed to do a survey.

Please leave any comments you might have. I really do want feedback.

  4. Yes, the shin was the most talked about part of Lindsey Vonn. But I saw the photos of her in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. The rest of her looks pretty good.

  5. Drew, after I made my picks and it was tabulated, all the questions rolled up into a precise 100%. I would think that one set of like/dont like questions would equate to the 100% rather than the 23% / 3% that the first set shows.
