And So it Begins

Here’s a take on the NBA payoffs from April 28, 2005. Still sums up my feeling that the playoffs are just too long. I’ll have some Nuggets cartoons this week so hold on and keep toonin in.

  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

Another oldie but a goodie. And still relevant.

40 games in forty nights, thats the promo on TBS.

That ends the playoffs in almost early june, when we should be out there doing something,

    like maybe PLAYING basketball.

Just because NBA basketball is unwatchable the network payed the money to reach a small

percentage of the population, that is there business.

If its raining, I would rather watch replays of sienfeld, friends or cosby than what they are trying to

force feed us on TBS or TNT. With cable we have a lot of choices and I would rather watch ‘rasslin’

    than the NBA.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

    Gene

  2. By the time the Playoffs wrap up, then only fans still caring are the ones with thier team in the finals. There’s too many off days and not enough flexibility when teams finish series early.

It’s basketball!! Why so many off days!! Silly
