   What a wonderful weekend it was. First we get the old referee’s back to call the games and then we get the old Peyton Manning carving up the Oakland Raider defense like a Thanksgiving Day turkey.

   Lets hope this trend continues.

2. Good Morning from Omaha,

   I am glad someone has something to cheer about this season. After watching the Chiefs “game” yesterday it would seem the bronco’s have to beat the Chargers to win the west.

   Peyton takes his “place” amongst the greats with a win in New England next weekend. That should be quite the dual.

   Beating the Patriots will be a true test of the comeback being staged in Denver with Peyton.It’ll come down to more than Peyton vs Brady but that is always the case. You better hope the defense is up for the many challenges New England presents.

   Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

3. Peyton and the Broncos did go on quite the hunt yesterday. There isn’t a person in Bronco Country who wanted the Raiders to win five in a row on Denver’s turf. To win by the biggest margin since 1962, is huge for the Broncos and their fans. To win at home put the trophy on the wall.

   Now on to taking care of some unfinished business in New England….

   Next week is going to be the ultimate challenge. After the Patriots “come back” during the 3rd quarter where they outscoured 38-7, well… As much as I hate to say it, the Patriots are a force to be reckoned with. Our defense will have to play the best games of their lives in order to beat Brady and the rest of the Patriots.

   I’m an eternal optimist (*snort*), so here’s hoping!
