  1. good morning from Omaha.

I just know the Yankee’s spill more money than the KC Royals spend.

that seems to be the problem with the Rockies as well.

    The sports talk guys in

KC say that the owners of the Royals don’t have enough desire to win to spend the money

it takes to get the players to win. the royals are owned by david glass the former CEO of walmart

and the lessons he learned from Sam Walton are now a business plan for baseball and losing.

Have a great day.See you tomorrow.

  2. Hi, Drew!

I also think that it’s so great that you have this website!

The very first thing that crossed my mind when the Rocky announced that it was up for sale was, “oh no! No more Drew?!” (along with my sadness for losing such a wonderful piece of our state’s history in that newspaper).

I’ve been a fan of yours for 20+ years and couldn’t imagine no longer having your interpretation of our city’s sports world around.

Thank you for pushing forward with this.

You were such a big part of the Rocky and I know that having you “stick around” means a lot to those of us who will miss it.

  3. hmmm….may be concerned citizens should ask the Steinbrenners to help bail out the country?

  4. Hey Drew!

I love your cartoons man! They’re the best, whenever I’m in a bad mood or had a very tough & draining day all I do is check out your ‘toons & they make me smile brightly which is great because that only happens when I’m at Coors field.
