Nuggets escort Cuban outta Dodge
Another amazing night in Colorado sports history. The Nuggets advance in the NBA playoffs to the Western Conference finals. I covered the Nuggets the last time they went this deep in the playoffs back in the 80′s. This team is better. Much better. Safe to say the guys in LA are shaking a bit.
Technical Difficulties.
We have solved the glitches with the site we experienced yesterday. Sorry we had to delete the comments from the last post. Thry are working now. I updated the about Drew link above. Check it out. Now. How about those Nuggets!!!

Cuban goes Crazy
Look. I like Mark Cuban. I like his spirit and his energy. But his behavior sometimes can be a little, well, out of control. Clearly Saturday afternoon was one of those times. He reacted poorly to the buzzer beater that Carmelo Anthony hit to put the Nuggets up 3-0 in the series. Cuban didn’t get the call he wanted on the court. Life is like that sometimes. We don’t always get the calls that go our way. We get passed up for a job or a promotion, we get bad news at the Doctor or we don’t get the house we made an offer on or we lose someone very dear to us. It’s often how we react to those bad calls in our own lives that build character and integrity. Carmelo stepped up with the game on the line. He could have grumbled about the umpteen billion fouls that were called on Saturday and more than a few that weren’t. But he didn’t. It’s how he adjusted to the adversity that put him into position to make a shot that will define his career. Funny how life works that way.
I have another Cuban cartoon that you can see here at 9News.com

Gratitude to a Great Guy
You may have heard me mention Steve Foster before. He was our Editor in charge of web content for sports at the Rocky Mountain News. In December when the Rocky was put up for sale, Steve asked me if I wanted him to help me put together a website that could serve as a jumping point (hence the fish pic) if the News wasn’t bought. I nodded my head like a bobblehead and Steve went to work. What you see here on this site is because, well, basically Steve is a genius. He put the whole site together, and, during the last few weeks has helped make some changes so that DrewLitton.com can be a little more interactive. Steve is a talented editor, a guy with a vision for the future of news content on the web, an author in the midst of writing his first novel, a great web designer and a good friend of mine. If you need a web guy, trust me, Steve Foster is the guy. Check out his great blog at http://www.americasfish.com
The picture here is my little tribute to Steve and carries a lot of symbolism. His website is americasfish.com, both of us are now kind of like fish out of water seeking to soar from one fish bowl (The News) to a brand new one. Thanks Steve for making DrewLitton.com a reality.
