Alabama turned in one of the most dominate games on the defensive side of the ball in the history of college football last night beating the LSU Tigers 21-0. LSU never advanced the ball beyond the 50 yard line all night long. So much for 13-0. Congrats to the Crimson Tide and to my pal, Kyle Banister, the only Alabama fan I know, who I’m sure was hoping for a cartoon of me eating crow (I was rooting for LSU).
Thanks for the huge numbers we got on Sunday nights cartoon for 9News (A Wing and A prayer) We set a DrewLitton.com record for the number of page views. It’s all because of you and your desire to share my content on the web that makes it happen! I appreciate it!
I was also interviewed by 9News and you can watch it at www.9News.com. I’ll try to embed the video later (we had some problems doing so earlier)

It indeed is a tangled web the BCS and the archaic bowl system have weaved. They continue to entrap College Football Playoff hopes for all of us because of greed and short sightedness. Then again, with all the scandals involved in the NCAA these days, maybe it’s better left alone. Imagine the illegal chaos that would ensue if they did have a real playoff system. Yikes.

Now that’s a Red Bull. Angry, mean and unforgiving, the college football poll system is a bit of a frightening place these days. I love taking scenes like this and making them into cartoon “stages”. I think this one comes from either growing up in Texas or seeing “Urban Cowboy” one too many times. probably a bit of both.
