Be patient. I’m running behind in my shipping.

Bob Hayes. That was a guy I grew up watching when he played for the Dallas Cowboys. He was, at the time, the fastest human alive. Heavy emphasis on was. The Cowboys thought it might be interesting to see if he could catch a football. The rest is history. Watching Jamaican runner, Usain Bolt, is a reminder of all that is great about sports. Just don’t blink you might miss him. It was great fun to borrow a coyote named Wile E. from a master of animation, Chuck Jones. Wouldn’t it be great if the Broncos or someone in the NFL managed to sign Usain Bolt. That could make us all forget some whiner named Brandon. Ahhh, what a breath of fresh air that would be.

The addition of Jason Giambi to the Rockies lineup certainly is an indication of the seriousness the franchise is placing on this run to the pennant. It comes at a perfect time too. After seeing those first two Broncos exhibition games, the Rockies simply MUST stay in contention. Otherwise what will we do when October rolls around?

The Fear Factor
This years fantasy football drafts have an added element of anxiety to them. Last years game Tom Brady injury decimated not only the Patriots, but hundreds of thousands of fantasy teams everywhere. To clarify, I was not among them. I was plenty bad on my own merits. I love this time of year when so many of us are spending a few hours (and some of you out there, many, many hours) prepping for our Fantasy drafts. This fantasy stuff is big business you know. The latest edition of Entrepreneur magazine has an article on the whole thing. Today’s poll is sweet and simple.
